Vegetable tanned, well-dyed calf leather which can be used either with the grain side or the grained, slightly silvery pigmented flesh side facing outwards. The irregular, argentine pigment coating appears to be peeling off and may wear further away with friction.

Care Instruction pep

»pep« leather is mostly used with the slightly silvery pigmented flesh side facing outwards. It is sensitive to moisture and staining and rather difficult to clean and thus should be treated with waterproofing spray prior to use. Slight stains can be cleaned using a soft brush. The light colours are particularly delicate and very difficult to clean. Some stains such as grass or oily liquids cannot be removed at all. »pep« leather should never be treated with shoe polish.
