Made for You Campaign
Our "Made for You" service offers personal creative freedom to customise an individual pair of Trippen shoes. Soles, leather parts and colours can be selected and combined from more than 1600 models. According to the wishes of the costumer, the desired shoe will be exclusively made within 4-6 weeks.

We launched the “Made for You” service in Trippen‘s Concept Store at Potsdamer Strasse 100 in Berlin. You can create your own Trippen shoes with the assistance of our trained staff.
For our campaign, we chose four people from different creative industries to express themselves with their own customised Trippen shoes. They had the opportunity not only to choose the style, leather and sole but also to visit Trippen’s production near Berlin and see how their shoes were made step by step.

**How do you spend your free time?
** I usually don’t have any free time and when I do I try to rest or see my friends. My profession is my passion and I try to work as much as I can to keep myself busy.
**How would you describe your style?**
I would say my style is quite eclectic. I try to intuitively mix colours and patterns as much as possible.
**What has influenced you?**
I am influenced by my cultural background, nature and by people around me.
**What was important for you while creating your own Trippen shoes?**
For me, it was important to create something that I would definitely wear for a long time, shoes that are quite timeless.
**Tell us something about your experience in production?**
That experience was amazing. It helps you to understand how much work and love was put into a pair of shoes. For example the number of people involved in producing my shoes. As a fashion designer, I‘m familiar with sewing machines, but shoe production is something completely different, that fascinated me a lot.

** I am usually doing yoga or reading a book.
**How would you describe your style?
** I prefer dressing practically and comfortable.
**What has influenced you?
** Usually, the weather has the biggest influence on what I will wear.
**What was important for you while creating your own Trippen shoes?**
I wanted to have blue shoes, also the open toe was something I really like.

It was a pleasure to go to the factory and see the process of how the shoes are made. It is a truly unique company.

**How do you spend your free time?**
My passion is my family, especially my mother, daughter and my grandson. Also, my friends, good food and jumping on the tram- poline are things I live for.
**How would you describe your style?**
I think my style can be described as “classic”.
**What has influenced you?**
The moment right now, everything around me is my inspiration.
**What was important for you while creating your own Trippen shoes?**
Making shoes which I will love and never want to take off.
**Tell us something about your experience in production?**
To experience how my shoes were made step by step and all the interesting machines just baffled me. The whole Trippen team was amazing and made me feel welcome. I was very close to the shoemakers and got some tips and advice on the maintenance of my shoes. It really surprised me how much manual work, love and carefulness was put into it. The sustainability of Trippen and the fact that they are made in Zehdenick in Germany was really fascinating. The insight into the production has changed my view on shoes in general and I am full of gratitude.

**How do you spend your free time?
** I love to do many different things. Riding motorcycle into de- serted areas outside of L.A., as far away from civilisation as possible. Besides that I am making music, watching or making movies, cooking and socialising with friends.
**How would you describe your style?
** I would say that I am effortlessly careless about fashion but not unaware.
**What has influenced you?
** Prince, Bowie, people that know who they are (or can pretend it extremely well).
**What was important for you while creating your own Trippen shoes?**
I like rugged and playful looks. The boot plays to the rugged element, but with a playful twist with the white sole and white laces. I wanted a boot that would pass on my motorcycle in the desert as well as at the bar at night.
**Tell us something about your experience in production?**
It was a first. Which is amazing to see something for the first time, when you’re my age. It was very comprehensible how the whole shoe making process went. Luckily it’s not rocket science but considering it is one of the most critical pieces of clothing which protect us, it is just as important.
